In partnership with Boeing, Pelican Hill Resort, The Island Hotel and Irvine Community Apartments an initiative to help women move toward economic self sufficiency in Orange County has been launched.  The United Way identified key areas of need including transportation, career skills and financial literacy for many lower wage working women.  Participants will be offered guidance on available community resources to meet these needs and  will be paired with a professional working woman who can offer advice and coaching.
