It was an evening of fellowship, food and fun. An essential element in the team development model we use with many of our clients is celebration. So taking our own advice, Linda Krall and I hosted a reunion event for participants of our creativity workshops to celebrate their collective genius and wild thinking. We wanted to bring people together that had a shared experience to reconnect and share with one another their successes on creating a more creative work environment.\n\nOn a warm summer evening we gathered on outdoor patio at the Claim Jumper South Coast Plaza to eat, drink and be merry. The energy was high as was the volume of all the great conversations that were taking place. Our guests shared stories with us and each other about how they’d taken what they learned in the workshop about being creative and seeing with fresh eyes and applied it with their customers, employees and even their families.\n\n\nAs fans of the “The Wild Idea Club” book here are some of practices they used to spark creativity. \n
- \n
- Ask “What if” questions
- Change viewpoints
- See the obvious
- Do the unexpected
- Believe in yourself

\nWe want to thank this group of amazing people for their on-going support and encouragement. We know the world is thirsty for what we have to offer and they are helping to spread the word and “wild ideas.”\n\nIf you are interested in attending a workshop, they are being offered this fall through Orange Coast College on Wednesday, Septemeber 29 and Tuesday, October 26, click here to register http://www.orangecoastcollege.edu.
